11月23日 Talking about Origin of the jiva soul![]() UNIVERSAL CREATION.
INTRODUCTION http://realaudio.krishna.org/
http://www.vishnujana.com/3.htm “Because the Kingdom of God is an Eternal Personal Active Loving Devotional Place of unlimited pastimes that is ever lasting and never aging, the atma-vigraha (the real spiritual self and form) bodies are always there – Nitya-siddha means — eternally established. This is what permanence, perpetual and eternity means – no beginning, no end and never changing (although lila-rasa — the mellows of a pastime, can change in the spiritual universe). Generally nitya-siddha means one never falls to the conditioned living entity stage or jiva-bhuta sub-conscious lower self or dream state however, even if one does, it is only their sub-conscious dreaming mind or false ego and never their eternal atma-vigraha body or real self” Pradyumna Swami, the Secret Book Of Origins. The nitya-siddha personality, identity and form refer to ones original Krishna Conscious body that is always there in Goloka-Vrindavan (Gods Kingdom) and can never fall down. Only ones forgetfulness of Krishna instantaneously formulates the perceptible altered-state sub-consciousness called the jiva-bhuta which is the fallen state of consciousness – its all based on what ones consciousness is absorbed in, either serving Krishna, or chasing ‘dreams’ of self importance and selfish desires. These are the two altered states of consciousness.
Even when ones dreaming sub-consciousness known as the jīva-bhūtaḥ, or the conditioned living entity (the fall down stage of consciousness) is in the material universal dream, suffering the pangs of frustration, forgetfulness, impermanence, birth, disease, old age and death, repeatedly, ones atma-vigraha spiritual body, the central personal point from where they are dreaming from, remains uninterrupted in the Kingdom of God. This is very difficult to understand because on return to ones full consciousness, it will be as if one never left, due to the nature of Spiritual eternal time.
ALL those who choose to stop serving and thinking about Krishna (God), transmit the prolongation of the forgetful temporary self-absorbing material universe, created by the fall-down (forgetfulness of Krishna) state of sub-conscious mind or lower self, completely unaware they have an original nitya-siddha body from whence their dreams are dispatched from.
Every living entity has an original nitya-siddhasvarupa-sat-cit-ananda-atma-vigraha body, they can realize if they are Krishna Conscious, or can never realize when not Krishna Conscious. This inability to remember Krishna is due to their absorption and addiction to the counterfeit bodies and identities shaped by their sub-conscious mind (lower self) creating what we call the material universe”. The Secret Book Of Origins
CHAPTER ONE
The following quotes are from His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the founder of the ISKCON Movement (The International Society for Krishna Consciousness)
1. Srila Prabhupada: - “There has never been any occasion when we were separated from Krishna. Just like a man is dreaming and forgets his body, in the dream he creates himself in different forms: ‘now I am the King’ thinking in this way or that way. This creation of himself is as seer and subject matter or seen, two things. But as soon as the dream is over, the 'seen' disappears. But the seer remains. Now he is in his original position. Be Determine to extinguish your sub-consciousness with the reawakening of your Krishna Consciousness. As soon as the dream is over, the ‘seen' (sub-consciousness) disappears. But the seer (full consciousness) remains. Now this ‘seer’ is ones original Krishna Conscious position”.
2. Srila Prabhupada: - “Our separation from Krishna is like that. We dream this body and so many relationships with other things. First the attachment comes to enjoy sense gratification. Even with Krishna desire for sense gratification is there. There is a dormant attitude for forgetting Krishna and creating an atmosphere for enjoying independently. Just like at the edge of the beach, sometimes the water covers, sometimes there is dry sand, coming and going. Our position is like that, sometimes covered, sometimes free, just like at the edge of the tide. As soon as we forget, immediately the illusion is there. Just like as soon as we sleep, dream is there”.
3. Srila Prabhupada: - “We cannot say therefore that we are not with Krishna. As soon as we try to become Lord, immediately Maya covers us. Formerly we were with Krishna in His Lila or sport. But this covering of Maya may be of very, very, very, very long duration; therefore many creations are coming and going. Due to this long period of time it is sometimes said that we are ever conditioned. But his long duration of time becomes very insignificant when one actually comes to Krishna consciousness. Just like in a dream we are thinking very long time, but as soon as we awaken we look at our watch and see it has been a moment only. Just like with Krishna’s friends, they were kept asleep for one year by Brahma, but when they woke up and Krishna returned before them, they considered that only a moment had passed”.
4. Srila Prabhupada: - “So this dreaming condition is called non-liberated life, and this is just like a dream. Although in this material calculation it is a long, long period, as soon as we come to Krishna consciousness then this period is considered as a second. For example, Jaya and Vijaya. They had their Lila with Krishna, but they had to come down for their little mistake. They were given mukti (Impersonal or Personal liberation), merging into the Brahma-sayujya (Impersonal Brahmajoyti) after being killed three times as demons. This Brahma-sayujya mukti is non-permanent”.
5. Srila Prabhupada: - “Every living entity wants pleasure, but Brahma-sayujya is minus pleasure. There is eternal existence only. So when they do not find transcendental bliss, they fall down to make a compromise with material bliss. Just like Vivekananda founded so many schools and hospitals. So even Lord Brahma, he is still material and wants to lord it over. He may come down to become a germ, but then he may rise up to Krishna consciousness and go back to home, back to Godhead. This is the position”.
6. Srila Prabhupada: - “So when I say Yes, there is eternal Lila with Krishna, that means on the evidence of Jaya-Vijaya. Unless one develops full devotional service to Krishna, he goes up only up to Brahma-sayujya but falls down. But after millions and millions of years of keeping oneself away from the Lila of the Lord, when one comes to Krishna consciousness this period becomes insignificant, just like dreaming”.
7. Srila Prabhupada: - “Because he falls down from Brahma-sayujya, he thinks that may be his origin, but he does not remember that before that even he was with Krishna. So the conclusion is that whatever may be our past, let us come to Krishna consciousness and immediately join Krishna. Just like with a diseased man, it is a waste of time to try to find out how he has become diseased, better to spend time curing the disease”.
8. Srila Prabhupada: - “On the top of the tree there is a nice tal-fruit. A crow went there and the fruit fell down. Some panditas, big, big learned scholars saw this and discussed: the fruit fell due to the crow agitating the limb. No, the fruit fell simultaneously with the crow landing and frightened the crow so he flew away. No, the fruit was ripe and the weight of the crow landing broke it from the branch, and so on and so on. What is the use of such discussions? So whether you were in the Brahma-sayujya or with Krishna in His Lila, at the moment you are in neither, so the best policy is to develop your Krishna consciousness and go there, never mind what is your origin. Brahma-sayujya and Krishna Lila - both may be possible, but when you are coming down from Brahma-sayujya or when you are coming down from Krishna Lila, that remains a mystery. But at the present moment we are in Maya's clutches, so at present our only hope is to become Krishna conscious and go back to Home, back to Godhead. The real position is servant of Krishna, and servant of Krishna means in Krishna Lila. Directly or indirectly, always we are serving Krishna’s Lila”.
9. Srila Prabhupada: - “Even in dream. Just like we cannot go out of the sun when it is daytime, so where is the chance of going out of Krishna Lila? The cloud may be there, it may become very grey and dim, but still the sunlight is there, everywhere, during the daytime. Because I am part and parcel of Krishna, I am always connected. My finger, even though it may be diseased, remains part and parcel of my body. Therefore, we try to treat it, cure it, because it is part and parcel. So Krishna comes Himself when we forget Him, or He sends His representative”.
10. Srila Prabhupada: - “Awakening or dreaming, I am the same man. As soon as I awaken and see myself, I see Krishna. Cause and effect are both Krishna. Just like cotton becomes thread and thread becomes cloth, still, the original cause is cotton. Therefore, everything is Krishna in the ultimate sense. When we cannot contact Krishna personally, we contact His energies. So there is no chance to be outside Krishna’s Lila. But differences we see under different conditions. Just like in the pool of water and in the mirror the same me is reflecting, but in different reflections. The reflection is shimmering, unsteady, while the source of the reflection is clear and fixed. If we are not in Krishna consciousness, we cannot see our actual position rightly; therefore the learned man sees all living entities as the same parts and parcels of Krishna. Material existence is impersonal because my real personality is covered. But we should be thinking, ‘now I am covered by this ethereal body and its extended biological body of flesh, skin and bone that, this is my diseased state. We should be determined to become uncovered by these unnatural vessels therefore, I must get to the business of getting myself uncovered, not wonder how I got this way. Now the fruit is there, take it and enjoy, that is your first business. God is not bound by cause. He can change; He is the Cause of all Causes. Now don't waste your time with this "Kaka taliya nyaya," crows and tal-fruit logic."
11. Srila Prabhupada tells us clearly we were originally with Krishna in His Lila or pastime and for devotees to except this fact and get on with the job of spreading Krishna consciousness.
The following is the explanation of our original position to help the Impersonalists and neophyte devotees, who still stubbornly believe we all originate from the Brahma-sayujya (Brahmajoyti) to understand our original position as our Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body always serving Krishna’s Personal form by pleasing His great devotees.
The full meanings of the Sanskrit words Atma (soul’s perpetual individual higher self) Vigraha (souls higher eternal form or body) – Both are the Krishna Conscious self, identity, constitution and personality (also atma can mean jiva however, in this thesis, the jiva (soul’s lower self) is the sub-consciousness jiva-bhuta transpositional state of the full conscious atma (the souls higher self) that transmits the dreaming material illusion. The non-Krishna Conscious sub-consciousness only exists when one is not Krishna Conscious).
Atma-vigraha: - The reason why the Sanskrit words atma-vigraha is used is due to the closest Sanskrit words that reveal oneself in their full Krishna Conscious identity. The words ‘ātma-lińgam’ also means real form of the self but that form is on Brahma Loka or Satyaloka, and is an ethereal form that is part of the material universe - Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 2.2.28. The proper use of the word is mukta-lingam — lingam, the transcendental self and mukta mean liberation, refers to ones original Krishna Conscious body and form (atma-vigraha) they eternal serve Krishna as in Goloka-Vrindavan, which is the Eternal Kingdom of God way beyond Brahma Loka (Satyaloka) which is part of the impermanent illusionary dreaming universe.
These are just a few meanings of the Sanskrit word jiva. The Sanskrit word jiva has around 170 different meanings according to the way the word is used. The word lingam generally means form but, like other Sanskrit words, can have multiple meaning.
For example, the jiva means soul or living entity in English however, is that the soul in the Spiritual universe in its eternal Krishna Conscious personal form, or the soul in the material dreaming impermanent universe in its non Krishna conscious Impersonal form? Or can it mean both?
Krishna is also referred to as the Super-soul (Supreme Jiva) and the maintainer of all other individual jivas. Jīva-kalām – Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, from whom all living entities expand. Jīva-bhūta-ātma-bhūte - who is the life and the Supersoul.
In this thesis the jiva-atma has two meanings: -
1. Jiva-atma means the individual spirit soul (spirit in this thesis means full Krishna Consciousness active devotion (higher self), which is the atma-vigraha Krishna Conscious spiritual (devotional) body. This higher consciousness is also called the Jīva-tattva, which is the true original position of the living entities as always a person serving Krishna (atma-vigraha’s) Sada atma-sthaiḥ means those who are situated in eternity as persons and refers to the atma-vigraha body. Jiva-atma (jiva-souls, atma-self). In this thesis jiva-bhuta will refer to the sub-consciousness (lower self) under material conditionung, a transmitted non-Krishna conscious State of the self (jiva-atma or atma-vigraha) blocking out all awareness of that real self or full-Consciousness (the always Krishna Conscious bodily form) by switching to the selfish material desires that is like switching off the light of Krishna Conscious devotion, leaving one in the darkness – that darkness of consciousness, where one is unable to see who they are or where Krishna is, is called the jiva-bhuta or sub-conscious lower self. In this thesis and the source of the translocated jiva-atma, jivatma or jiva-bhutạ - the conditioned living entity is the fully conscious nitya-siddhasvarupa-sat-cit-ananda-atma-vigraha.
Therefore it is the jīva-bhūtaḥ or sub-consciousness, while forgetful of Krishna and who they themselves are, creates the illusionary material non-Krishna Conscious universe where the sub-conscious jiva-bhutah is obviously absorbed in the ‘lower self’ or non-Krishna conscious illusions or dreams. These sub-conscious imaginative thoughts are also known as the jiva-loka, or the conditioned soul trapped in the material world.
The jiva-sakti also can have two meanings: -
The jiva-sakti or tatastha-sakti (lower self) marginal potency as the formless ‘non-spiritual’ sparks of living atomic particles (in this thesis the English word Spiritual means pure Krishna Conscious active personal devotional service) the jiva-sakti lower self, is neither active in the Spiritual universe due to its sub-conscious creation of the non-Krishna conscious material universe, nor active in the material universe either.
Question - So where has the sub-conscious forgetful state of the atma-vigraha body gone?
Answer - Because the Kingdom of God is an eternal personal active loving devotional place that is ever lasting and never aging, the atma-vigraha bodies are always there – nitya-siddha means — eternally established. This is what impermanence and eternity means. Generally nitya-siddha means never falls to the sub-conscious (jiva-bhutah ̣ - the conditioned living entity) lower self or dream state. In this thesis nitya-siddha refers to ones original Krishna Conscious state. ALL those who choose to forget Krishna and enter the forgetful temporary material universe of the sub-conscious lower self. Every living entity has an original nitya-siddhasvarupa-sat-cit-ananda-atma-vigraha body they can realize if they are Krishna Conscious, or can never realize when not Krishna Conscious. There is no such thing as a spark of life or independent disconnected jiva, atma or life force in the material universe that is separated from, or a different entity from ones real eternal self. The jiva-bhutah, meaning the conditioned living entity is actually the sub-consciousness of the nitya siddhasvarupa sat cit ananda atma vigraha body.
· Nitya – Eternally Krishna Conscious without beginning or end. Nitya-siddha means — eternally established. This is what impermanence and eternity means. Generally nitya-siddha means never falls to the sub-conscious lower self or dream state. In this thesis nitya-siddha refers to ones original Krishna Conscious body that is always there even when ones dreaming (jiva-sub-consciousness) lower self is in the material universe.
· Siddhasvarupa – A Krishna Conscious unique, original and servitor personal relationship with Krishna that can only be awakened when one is Krishna Conscious. It is impossible to understand whom one really is in Krishna Lila (pastime) while still absorbed in the sub-conscious-jiva projected hallucinations. · Sat – Krishna Conscious eternity. · Cit – Krishna Conscious Knowledge. · Ananda – Krishna Conscious bliss. · Atma (soul’s higher self, personality and individuality) – Krishna Conscious self, identity, and personality (also atma can mean jiva however, in this thesis, the jiva (soul’s lower self) is the sub-consciousness of the full conscious atma (the souls higher self) that transmits the dreaming material illusion. The non-Krishna Conscious sub-consciousness only exists when one is not Krishna Conscious). · Vigraha (soul’s higher body form) – is the atma’s individual eternal bodily Krishna Conscious form Question - So how does the individual atma-vigraha fall down from Krishna’s loving service? Answer - The answer is simple, it doesn’t because that atma-vigraha body is eternal and is the real identity and personality of you and me. If your sub-conscious (jiva-bhutah ̣) is demanding sense enjoyment while attempting the path of reawakening your Krishna Consciousness, you will never succeed to arouse your real Conscious self. Sub-consciousness is like the darkness while consciousness is like the light, where there is consciousness, no longer can no sub-consciousness exist, just like where there is light, darkness does not exist.
This is where most people go wrong when it comes to reviving their ‘old’ Krishna Consciousness; they misjudge the ease at which change can occur, giving up when it gets too hard. Once your sub-conscious is on your side trying to be Krishna Conscious, things will seem to fall in your lap as you sub-consciousnesses (jiva-bhutah) material desires subsides and your full consciousness (Krishna Consciousness) awakens. Be Determine to extinguish your sub-consciousness with the reawakening of your Krishna Consciousness. As soon as the dream is over, the ‘seen' (sub-consciousness) disappears. But the seer (full consciousness) remains. Now this ‘seer’ is ones original Krishna Conscious position. This pathway will lead to who you really are and your original spiritual body and eternal relationships with Krishna through the process of Bhakti-yoga (loving devotional service).
Question - So why am I now in the material universe living in a biological body that gets diseased, grows old and dies, forcing me to go through the pain and delusion of rebirth and forgetfulness?
Answer - In Goloka Vrindavan (the Kingdom of God) there is always free will and choice otherwise there can be no question of voluntary loving Krishna. The original constitutional position of the living entity is a person and that identity and personality is the form and body called the atma-vigraha, not in the form, it is ones original appearance! Krishna is the Supreme Atma-Vigraha individual Body and is also the maintainer of all His Spiritual creation. Now if one chooses to forget Krishna or attempts to enjoy like Krishna, the Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body is no longer viable for their new separate desires of expression. A good example is when one is in the light, they see their own body and the associates of that body, but as soon as the light is turned off, they no longer see their body or the associates of that body. Their body and Krishna’s perpetual Kingdom id there but they are unable to see reality due to the darkness. In this way as soon as we forget Krishna, we forget ourselves and we are left to wonder the darkness of our imagination. That imagination is desires of grandeur that we call the material universe. Krishna is so kind that even being in the darkness of the material illusion, that is called the jiva-bhutah -sub-consciousness or lower self in this thesis, is also sanctioned and managed by Him.
Question - So why is it said we are an atom of effulgence or spiritual spark?
Answer - One can appear as that deceptive inactive state of sub-conscious oneness, or an individual spark of light because they are no longer interested in creating counterfeit ethereal and biological temporary bodily identities and personalities. Such a state of non-participation with the sub-conscious active thought, desires dreams, is due to the frustration of impermanence that governs the material universal darkness, as well as its Impersonal so called liberation state of ‘non-thought’. Such illusions are due to a long, long; long ago desire to enjoy autonomously from Krishna, where one has forgotten their true Spiritual Personal atma-vigraha origins. The sub-conscious (jiva-bhutaḥ) illusions blocks ones appreciation of their real Krishna Conscious individual self (atma-vigraha body). This state of sub-conscious inactiveness one escapes to in an attempt to be liberated, borders the sub-conscious material active impermanent state called the tatastha-sakti. The idea that this state of sub-consciousness (jiva-bhutah) originally appears as ‘an individual atomic unconscious spark’ is only believed by less intelligent devotees who foolishly believe this impersonalism is the original source of the jiva-bhutah, or, for the Impersonalist Yogis and Mayavadis can appear as an ‘all pervasive bright light’, however both are an illusion manufactured in the darkness of their own sub-consciousness (remember when the light is turned out you no longer see your body or the associates of your body) within the deep shadows of forgetfulness of Krishna, where one forgets they are a atma-vigraha Krishna Conscious body, not as a Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body because they are already and always was and will be that personal individual body!
Only in the deep darkness of ones ignorant sub-consciousness does one appear to exist as a spiritual spark or an atom of effulgence. The material universe and the Impersonal Brahmajoyti is also the dream of the Maha-Vishnu expansion of Lord Krishna, Lord of the Universe and all the atma-vigraha’s, who facilitates the mistaken desires of those who choose to forget Krishna and simultaneously themselves and exist in but a shadow of there real self. Krishna Himself or Vishnu does not directly or personally create what we know to be the material world; He gives the responsibility and power to a jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness’s. Lord Brahma, the representative of Krishna, facilities the material universe like the minister governs a country, is also the creation of the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness, he is only empowered to fulfil the desires of those who choose to exist as the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness or dream state of existence; his potency is derived from a source greater than him. On rare occasions Vishnu Himself may take on that role in order to fulfil the mistaken desires of the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness Explained in more detail later
The Impersonal Brahmajoyti, a concoction of the jiva-bhutah -sub-consciousness, is not a Spiritual place because there is no devotion to Krishna in that inactive state where the jiva-bhutah -sub-consciousness imagines itself existing as a vibrating spark of living impersonal light when not active in its material hallucinations of various ethereal and biological bodily vessels and their sub-conscious imagined surroundings. This jiva-bhutah -sub-conscious illusion is also known as the jiva-lokah, or the conditioned soul trapped in the material world.
Jiva-gatim means the true nature of the living entity. Even without any knowledge of God (Krishna) or our own real eternal individual bodily Spiritual form, we are still all eternally connected to our perpetual body in Gods Kingdom, even while we are transmitting our forgetful dreams within the material universe or non-active-dreams within the Impersonal Brahmajoyti.
Jiva-sakti can also refer to the higher self but is generally a Sanskrit word used to describe the lower self, or the conditioned state of existing in the ‘darkness’ or ‘shadow of ones self’ or ‘the jiva-bhutah -sub-conscious dream’, which is the material impermanent universe that includes its Impersonal counterfeit motionless liberation of suspension of thought into the ‘Personal Brahmajoyti’ unreal replication, opposite or shadow called the Impersonal Brahmajoyti, which is the silhouette of the real Personal Brahmajoyti. Explained more clearly on page 53).
The following painting is adapted from the Veda Hare Krishna planetarium index explaining correctly the origin of jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness (that dreams of material existence) as a split non-Krishna conscious personality originating from the Krishna Conscious perpetual atma-vigraha body: - ‘I am therefore the atma-vigraha (always embodied as my real self) part and parcel and eternal servant of the Lord. My nitya-siddhasvarupa, spiritual body and eternal relationship with Krishna always exists, even if I choose to forget Krishna and my real position and transform my consciousness to the jiva-bhutah-sub-conscious state, where I can create various ethereal and biological bodies identities and forms in the material world. These counterfeit bodily forms have absolutely no resemblance to my real atma-vigraha body, however they are of the same quality as myself yet on a level of un-consciousness or dream state that is unaware of Krishna or the body I original serve Krishna as. Although I could stay eternally in Lord's loving company in Goloka-Vrindavan and participate in His Lila (pastime), I decided to explore the material universal dream world created by my forgetful jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness thus beginning my journey... The Lord does not interfere with my free will by preventing me from leaving Him but is unlimitedly happy when I return to Him again’ “Having attained me [Svarupa], a friend more dear than life, as if He had not seen me for a long time, taking my hand in His lotus hand, asking me wonderful questions, bringing happiness to all the people of Vraja, and walking as gracefully as an elephant, the handsome Lord entered the village of Vraja." (Brhad-bhagavatamrta 2.6.76, by Sanatana Goswami)
"After attaining Me, the great souls, who are yogis in devotion, never return to this temporary world, which is full of miseries, because they have attained the highest perfection." (BG 8.15)
The Kingdom of God, or the transcendental world of sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (eternal, full of knowledge and full of bliss and all living entities original have form and body) is the abode of the Supreme Lord Krishna in Goloka Vrindavan and His expansion Vishnu in His unlimited eternal forms. The authentic Personal Brahman or Brahmajoyti is the Vaikuntha’s and their inhabitants surrounding the transcendental body of Lord Krishna in the Bona Fide Perpetual Personal Universe where all life is individual and has an eternal body. The Personal authentic Brahman or Brahmajoyti is form and held together by form.
The comatose withdrawn multi personality unconscious version of the Brahmajoyti is Impersonal and, just as that sub-consciousness is the shadowy silhouette of the atma-vigraha spiritual body in Goloka-Vrindavan, the Impersonal Brahmajoyti is the demarcated or shadow of the Personal Brahmajoyti in the sub-conscious dream. This exists at the edge of the material universe where material desires and thoughts exist as a non-dreaming state, where ones sub-consciousness not only originally consciously walked away from its own full consciousness or body serving Krishna, but have now, deep within their sub-conscious dream, have now also walked away from the dreamed-up bodily creations, opting for a total sub-conscious shut down that the ‘sub-consciousness has deluded itself to be an eternal state of liberation, but, just as the material universe is temporary, so is this impersonal imaginary escape into the impersonal sub-conscious version of the Brahmajoyti. Jiva-vinir-muktah means freed from the subtle conditioning of material consciousness
Eventually the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness comes out of their non-dreaming state because it is the nature of life to be fully active, be it in the fully conscious state in Goloka-Vrindavan, or the sub-conscious state in the material universe. Activity and personal form is the original nature and appearance of the soul.
The material universe in this thesis is the sub-conscious dream of the full conscious atma-vigraha body. It is said the effulgence of the Impersonal Brahmajoyti is very bright but that brightness cannot be compared the pure personal selfless loving (devotional) brightness surrounding Krishna’s Personal Body where all the atma-vigraha’s reside and who ARE that brilliance AS their perpetual bodily selves. Is this proper understanding of Personalism getting through? The Impersonal Brahmajoyti is part of the illusionary dreaming sub-consciousness projected simultaneously by the sleeping Maha-Vishnu expansion of Krishna, and those who have forgotten Krishna and the original perpetual body they serve Krishna with. Krishna’s Maha Vishnu expansion makes the material universe possible and always accompanies the forgetful jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness.
The Impersonal Brahmajoyti, the shadow of the Personal Brahmajoyti, is a bogus illusionary isolated inactive imaginary cessation of sub-consciousness, mistaken as liberation, which is also temporary, like the material universe that the contaminated active‘jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness’ is trying to break out from. Real liberation is to re-establish ones original pure personal active Krishna Consciousness, as their original fully conscious awake self (atma-vigraha body)
The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness (false ego) takes this path because they are unable to see and recognize Krishna and there real self, form and body (ego) as already explained. Nor do they want to continue existing in the active material universe due to its tempoary nature and the frustration it causes. Atma-jiva also means marginal potency that is the original eternal never-ending Krishna Conscious form
Jiva-rupa- the identity of the living entity (higher self) that is the original eternal never ending Krishna Conscious form (atma-vigraha) and refers to the Spiritual devotional (Krishna Conscious unending universe free from impermanence, birth, death, disease, old age and death) where the jiva-rupa — the identity of the living entity has eternal form (atma-vigraha) serving Krishna. The higher consciousness is also called the jiva-tattva, which is the true original Personal position of the living entities always personally serving Krishna (atma-vigraha’s) Therefore in this thesis, the atma-vigraha’s ‘lower self’ is called the dreaming jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness. This lower self or sub-conscious dream state is also called ‘the conditioned living entities’. While absorbed in the conditioned unconscious state, they are unaware of their real fully Krishna conscious bodily form.
A crude example of understanding what is explained here is, when one sleeps at night, they dream of so many places, and of having so many different personalities and identities in those sub-conscious dreams. While in such a deep sub-conscious dream state, one forgets their biological body from whence they are dreaming from. In the same way, the entire temporary material vast universe is nothing other than the dream of the real self or body (atma-vigraha)
"It is not possible to be disconnected, but it is possible to be covered". – Srila Prabhupda - Srimad Bhagavatam commentary to 3.25.13, Bombay, April, 1974
"Upon attaining the goal of the Supreme Soul, He serves in his own personal lustre and colour and in his own personal form of bliss. At that time, the jiva-bhutah again regains his imperishable form, completely uncovered and free from impediment". - Pada-ratnavali commentary to Srimad Bhagavatam 8.24.48
Srila Prabhupada in his purport on this verse further adds: -
‘Therefore the purpose of human life is to purify oneself of this contamination so that one can regain his spiritual form and not undergo this cycle of birth and death. The recommended process of decontamination is devotional service to the Lord. There are various processes for self-realization, such as karma, jnana and yoga, but none of them is equal to the process of devotional service - The living entity should become purified and regain his svarupa his original identity
Srila Prabhupada also further says in the purport of Bhagavad-Gita as it is Chapter 2 - text 28
“The material body has no factual existence in relation to the eternal soul. It is something like a dream. In a dream we may think of flying in the sky, or sitting on a chariot as a king, but when we wake up we can see that we are neither in the sky nor seated on the chariot”.
"Each and every living entity is originally attached to a particular type of transcendental service, because he is eternally the servitor of the Lord". - Srimad Bhagavatam 3.9.11, purport
When the light of loving devotional service to Krishna is turned on, one sees that all the ‘sub-conscious’ shadows of ones real self (atma-vigraha body) in the form of ethereal bodies and unlimited biological bodies within the material manifestation are originally all devotees of Krishna. When the light of loving devotional service is turned off by selfishness and forgetfulness of Krishna, one is left in the darkness of that material universal dream where they no longer see or remember Krishna or their own original transcendental body they serve Krishna as.
“The real meaning of the word Internet is: - ‘the linking up of ones projected speculative relayed conscious thoughts, derived from ones valid bodily identity and profile, and then relayed, via ones Computer, X-Box, Play Station or Nintendo, facilitating the connection to ones thoughts to an extensive array of computer networks, web pages, destinations and virtual games without really going anywhere.
The real explanation of the jiva (soul’s lower self) sub-consciousness: - ‘is the non-Krishna Conscious disseminated nescience thoughts relayed from ones atma - [self-soul] and vigraha –[body] full Consciousness (higher self) without being aware that this transmutation of consciousness to sub-consciousness has taken place. The sub-conscious jiva is the transpositional state of the atma-vigraha body. The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness is an illusion created by one who chooses to forget Krishna.
A further meaning of the word Internet is ‘the linking up of ones projected transmitted consciousness with extensive realms, networks and destinations without really going anywhere. In the case of the atma-vigraha body in Goloka-Vrindavan, it is the forgetfulness of Krishna that instigates instantly the further absentmindedness of oneself (atma-vigraha bodily personality) simultaneously. The non-Krishna Conscious thoughts, in modern scientific terminology, becomes the virtual internet (transmitted consciousness) super-highway (the material universe) that creates the many bodies and places for the transmitted jiva-soul-consciousness to live out extended non-Krishna Conscious dreams.
The sub-consciousness (jiva, atma or soul) is unaware of its original perpetual atma-vigraha bodily form that is facilitating and transmitting the virtual illusionary reality (via the jiva (sub-consciousness) as the material impermanent universe. When the sub-consciousness (jiva) begins it transformation back to its full consciousness body (atma-vigraha), the nescience jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness is disseminated by the effulgent personal atma-vigraha full bodily consciousness.
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabupada, says on the top of his Back to Godhead Magazine - Godhead is light. Nescience is darkness. Where there is Godhead there is no nescience. Light represents the higher self and nescience represents the lower self, as soon as there is light, the nescience or darkness disappears.
Technically there is no structure to the individual jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness (soul’s lower self) in its manifestation within the illusionary abstract world of the material universe because it is only an extensive state on non-Krishna (God as He is known with His Personal name) Conscious dreaming, originating from the atma – vigraha form (soul’s higher bodily individual self that is eternally serving God) yet having no memory of that form while in the sub-conscious darkness of the lower self.
The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness is in effect, illusionary transmitted dreaming consciousness originating from a personal foundation, yet unaware of its eternal bodily source were one is always blissfully Krishna Conscious in their full constitution, unaffected by the influence of the temporary material universal dream (Maya). How this apparent contraction is possible will be explained in the thesis.
There are two aspects of ones eternal consciousness; one personified as an eternal body, the other personified as temporary dreams.
1. Ones full consciousness (atma, the souls higher self means Krishna Conscious self. Vigraha means individual Krishna Conscious form that is always absorbed in serving Krishna (God) and his devotees in the Kingdom of God Known as Goloka-Vrindavan in the Sanskrit Vedas.
2. Ones sub-consciousness (jiva-bhutah, the individual souls lower self) existing as transmitted sub-consciousness dispersed from the atma-vigraha full consciousness self and body as a non Krishna Conscious ambience to the material universe.
As ones jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness (soul) moves towards (serving Gods Personal body) Krishna Consciousness, a transmutation begins to take place, the jiva-sub-consciousness sets in motion its return journey and begins to dissipate or transform back as its original full Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha perpetual body (higher self) beyond this temporary material universe, that is governed by forgetfulness, suffering, birth, disease, old age and death.
The jiva-bhutah-sub-conscious (lower self) trapped in the material universe, is always in the non-Krishna Conscious state (eternally conditioned while spellbound in the material dream) just as the Fully Krishna Conscious state is always in the fully Conscious perpetual devotional appearance of the atma-vigraha body (eternally liberated in the Kingdom of God) when fully aware of its higher self.
In other words, as one begins to understand they have a higher self beyond their present biological body and the material universe, that devotional knowledge will disseminate the nescience of the lower self sub-conscious illusions and identity, created by the jiva-bhutah that presently seem real.
Just like when the light is on, not only can one see their own body, but they also see those they are associating with. In conclusion, when the light of devotion and Knowledge is out, due to forgetfulness of Krishna (God), one can no longer be them-selves or know their real form always serving Krishna (God) in His eternal Personal Universe where birth, disease, old age and death do not exist.
The jiva-bhutah-sub-conscious is always in the non-Krishna Conscious state (eternally conditioned) just as the Fully Krishna Conscious state is always the atma-vigraha body (eternally liberated) In other words, in ones full consciousness, the effulgence of the atma-vigraha bodily personification of that consciousness disseminates the nescience of the jiva-bhutah-sub-conscious lower self illusions.
In this thesis the atma-vigraha is the full consciousness and the jiva-bhutah is the illusionary sub-consciousness however, for those who view the atma (soul) and the jiva (soul) as the same, then it can be said that the full conscious jiva is the higher self and Krishna Conscious, while the sub-conscious jiva is the lower self and always in trapped ethereal, biological consciousness in the material world.
The purpose of Lord Krishna-Caitanya’s Sankirtan Movement in our present age of Kali-yuga is withdrawal from the sub-consciousness to the fully conscious through the process of Chanting Hare Krishna.
In the presents of Krishna’s Perpetual Spiritual Universe, Goloka-Vrindavan (the Kingdom of God), the only reality is that bliss eternal abode. In comparison, the impermanent material universe is nothing other than a flickering frustrating dream. All individuals in Krishna’s abode that chooses not to remain Krishna Conscious create their-own dream-state existence and enter the dark sub-conscious real of the eternal existence. It is that extended separated sub-consciousness we call the jiva.
All jiva-bhutah’s (the sub-conscious state of the atma-vigraha) originate from a personal Krishna Conscious individual body called atma (the soul or jiva’s higher self) vigraha (form) The fleeting material universe, created by the sub-conscious jiva-bhutah, is nothing other than an fleeting illusion. The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness, trapped in the material universe, is always trying to break through that illusion. The sub-conscious- jiva-bhutah’s intrinsic nature is to believe it has a spiritual origin, even though unaware of what that spiritual origin is.
The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness has no idea they have a higher conscious self, existing eternally as a devotional personal in eternal form. The jiva-bhutah is the manifestation, or an alternative state of consciousness that comes into existence as soon as one forgets Krishna.
Instinctively the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness is always reminded they originate, (even though the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness has forgotten or trying to forget), from a Perpetual universe where everywhere is full of individual life and form devoid of impermanence, impersonalism, suffering, birth, disease, old age or death. This is why religion is inherent in all cultures.
The search for paragons is always inherent in human nature, for the reason that the material world and the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness, is not the real home of the real self, intrinsically every jiva-bhutah instinctively knows this, even when covered by ignorance and forgetfulness which is the real meaning of jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness.
One, who has reached the human species, after transmigrating through the lower species of life, can have these emotions of curiosity, if their human body has sufficient brain substance? Such embodied jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousnesses, will always know something is not quite right and become philosophers, poets, writers, scientists and astronomers in their quest to find out the truth and purpose of the life and the universe. As those emotion becomes more intense, the search for self realization begins and if it is intensely sincere, you do not even have to look for a Krishna Conscious Guru or Spiritual Master because he will find you. To be precise, that intense inbuilt search will come across the path of a Spiritual Master because whether one remembers or not, Krishna is always within them.
The meaning of illusion is non-Krishna (God) Conscious desires and thoughts that appear real but temporary in the material world created by the sub-conscious mind unaware of their atma-vigraha bodily source.
Such sub-conscious dreams fade away and disappears in due course, just like the dreams one has at night. Such non-Krishna dreams are figments of the imagination (sub-consciousness) manifested as the temporary material universe.
The jiva (life force, soul or living entity existing as the sub-conscious non-Krishna conscious lower self distinct from the Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body or real self) existing in the material universe, is simply ‘the dreaming sub-consciousness forgetful state of the full consciousness’ moulded by NON-Krishna Conscious thoughts, desires and eventually karma. We call that sub-consciousness, originating or transmitted from its eternal self and form, the life force or soul in English in its lower self-manifestation.
That’s why words such as life force, living entity, soul and even jiva are vague with impersonal connotations
The Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Purana - vedanta) calls this transmitted life force, the jiva consciousness, and explains how the jiva (soul) enters the impermanent material universe, originating from an eternal perpetual universe where everything is alive with personality and form that never decays or fades away. It is from the individual Krishna Conscious body existing in the Kingdom of God (Goloka-Vrindavan), the jiva-sub-consciousness originates and projects an illusionary existence that is the material universe.
The way this happens is due to non-Krishna Conscious thoughts that have a simultaneous two fold effect –
1. The higher self (atma-vigraha) that is always aware of their full consciousness and eternal body due to being Krishna Conscious
2. The lower self, existing in the sub-conscious alternative imaginary universe through the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness, is unaware of their full consciousness or eternal atma-vigraha bodily form because they have forgotten Krishna.
As soon as one forgets Krishna and serving His blissful form, one’s forgetfulness enters into their sub-conscious realm where one not only forgets Krishna, but they also forget their own body and become absorbed in their own non-Krishna Conscious dreams through the sub-conscious medium (jiva-bhutah.) The consequences of forgetting Krishna and ones real eternal Krishna Conscious atma- (self) vigraha- (form) body, is an imagined universe separated from Krishna and ones real self and form. The material universe (dream) is nothing other than generated fading thoughts that create unlimited bodily vessels, made provisional because of the capricious nature of the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness (fallen soul)
As already explained, the sub conscious jiva-bhutah state can only exist when one is unaware of their real self. This unconscious or sub conscious state is called the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness. Therefore, there is no such thing as a spark of life or independent disconnected jiva, atma or life force in the material universe that is separated from, or a different entity from ones real eternal nitya siddhasvarupa sat cit ananda atma vigraha personality.
· Nitya – Eternally Krishna Conscious without beginning or end. Nitya-siddha means — eternally established. This is what impermanence and eternity means. Generally nitya-siddha means never falls to the jiva-bhutah-sub-conscious lower self or dream state. In this thesis nitya-siddha refers to ones original Krishna Conscious body that is always there even when ones dreaming (jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness) lower self is in the material universe.
·The jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness is an illusion created by one who chooses to forget Krishna. The sub-consciousness (jiva-bhutah) is unaware of its original perpetual atma-vigraha bodily form that is facilitating and transmitting the virtual illusionary reality (via the jiva-bhutah (sub-consciousness) as the material impermanent universe. When the sub-consciousness (jiva-bhutah) begins it transformation back to its full consciousness body (atma-vigraha), the nescience jiva-bhutah consciousness is disseminated by the effulgent personal atma-vigraha full bodily consciousness when ones Krishna Consciousness is reestablished.
The non-Krishna Conscious thoughts, as the jiva-bhutah consciousness, in modern scientific terminology, becomes the virtual internet (transmitted sub-consciousness) super-highway (the material universe) that creates the many holographic bodies and places for the transmitted jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness to live out extended non-Krishna Conscious dreams. The jiva-bhutah is ‘thought’ transmitted as the virtual Internet super highway.
A crude example of this can be compared to the present hi-tech virtual reality Internet revolution. The material hallucination world to the Krishna Conscious atma vigraha IS what the Internet virtual super highway and 3.D. computer games are to the biological human body in the scientific technological age of the 21st century. Another crude example of how this works: - Today modern scientists are sending probes out into space or in medicine they are sending probes deep into the biological body, these probes become an extension of their senses but have no effect directly on their senses. In this way, they can go deep into space or deep within the biological body without really going there. This is because they have extended their influence or conscious awareness with the extensions of their sensual perception.
None of the extensions carrying their consciousness are real. Or another example is telephones and the new 3 dimensional televisions that will be widely available around 2020; one can be transported to a lounge room anywhere in the world, but are they really there? Through the visual senses they will appear real and sitting in your lounge room however, it is only an illusion. They are not real in that transmitted form but they are real at the source of that transmission. Therefore not only is the transmission of the real self’s consciousness (the atma-vigraha body) is not real, neither is the form of transport real. In this way, there is no real substance to the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness, just as there is no substance to the transmitted 3D television singles broadcasted from the television studio or some computer anywhere on the planet. In this way EVERYTHING is broadcasted from Goloka-Vrindavan as the material universe by the sub-consciousness (lower self).
Due to the temporary nature of the material universe, prompted by forgetfulness, the jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness sheds a lifeless phenomenon (container), these thought-generated-containers (biological bodied) without the presents of the jiva-bhutah-soul consciousness, eventually breaks down and expands the lifeless aspect of the material universe with fossilized dust, gases and sand that eventually become rocks, mountains, planets, moons, solar systems and galaxies over trillions of years however, the material universe is an ever expanding illusion. The planets that support life are shaped and molded by Brahma and his architect Visvakama.
The material dreaming universal phenomena is constantly repeated by the non-Krishna Conscious thoughts of those atma-vigrahas who have entered the dark realms of their sub-conscious desires due to forgetting Krishna and themselves. In this way, all matter comes from life. How this happens will be gradually explained in this thesis. There is no difference between desires, thoughts and actions on the absolute level. Either one is thinking of serving Krishna (serving in full consciousness) or not thinking of Krishna (selfishly existing in the darkness of their jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness).
If one chooses to not serve Krishna with every thought and action, then they disqualify themselves from living in the perpetual Goloka-Vrindavan dominion (Krishna’s Kingdom) as well as disqualifying themselves from being their full Krishna conscious genuine bodily self.
In this way, all the jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousnesses, forgetful of their atma-vigraha bodily origins, leave the Kingdom of Krishna (God) as the transmitted dreaming sub-consciousness (jiva-bhutah).
Based on non-Krishna Conscious desires and thoughts, this dreaming sub-consciousness then becomes covered by its own generated ethereal body, cast by those non-Krishna Conscious desires and thoughts. Eventually the ethereal body further generates a biological body, this is where the distinction between desires, thoughts and actions begin to manifest and Karma begins to exist in the human biological form of life. The generated biological body is like a garment covering the already embodied jiva-soul. This is very difficult to understand, what is written here in ‘THE SECRET BOOK OF ORIGINS’, is how this happens and is also the correct understanding of what the jiva-bhutah (life force or souls lower self) is and where it originates.
The Sanskrit word jiva-bhutah in this thesis means transmitted sub-conscious dreaming thoughts that originate from its eternal individual Krishna Conscious atma- (self) vigraha- (form) everlasting body in Krishna’s abode, without being aware of that Krishna Conscious body.
· The ATMA-VIGRAHA BODY is the higher self and is always ones Krishna Conscious individual bodily form.
· The jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness: - lower self, or the illusory dream appears sometimes as an individual spark of effulgence after its attempts to enjoy in the material illusory universe, but more often imagines itself as the all-pervasive self centred oneness. (Impersonalist yogis, Mayavadis, jains and Buddhists) This deluded sub-consciousness in a psychosis of denial originates from the same atma-vigraha individual permanent bodily source; unaware of that origin that is always an independent individual bodily servant of Krishna. Just as when one dreams in their present biological body, they are unaware of that biological body from whence they are dreaming from
Lord Krishna’s eternal Kingdom is known as Goloka-Vrindavan, or the Kingdom of God. Some scholars call the atma-vigraha body, the jiva or atma soul – all are correct. However, to make this book easier to understand, the Sanskrit word jiva-bhutah refers to the transmitted forgetful sub-consciousness that emanates from the eternal and never changing Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body that is always serving Krishna (God) in Goloka-Vrindavan. Forgetfulness of Krishna is the dreamy jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness alternative ‘reality’ to the atma-vigraha personalities and body in Goloka-Vrindavan. This alternative consciousness, unlike the atma-vigraha body, is not real and is compared to the dream one has in their present body. These dreams are called the televised transmitted jiva-bhutah-sub-consciousness. This illusionary sub-consciousness state has no knowledge of the atma-vigraha Krishna Conscious bodily source and therefore goes on too create many different levels of extended sub-conscious levels within the material illusion that exist in an Impersonal shrewdness where their universe may appear all one to the deluded jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness.
This delusion is possible because the sub-consciousness jiva-bhutah is isolated within its own dreaming consciousness and can dream up anything they desire – at least in the beginning stages of their dream, before they become trapped by karma.
The jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness first enters the illusionary heavenly planets in the material creation. When one is fully awake and aware Krishna Consciousness in a selfless devotional mood, the jiva-sub-consciousness ceases to exist because of its transformation from lower self back to higher self.
By failing to remember Krishna, one falls, due to forgetfulness, to the jiva-sub-conscious lower self’s thoughts and desires that reverberates sub-conscious thoughts of non-Krishna Conscious origins (desires and wishes) that broadcast the realism-dream-state-illusion of the impermanent material universe.
The English word for life force is jiva and atma-vigraha, to name just two out of hundreds different Sanskrit words describing the soul or living entity. In later chapters the description of Goloka-Vrindavan and the Vishnu Planets in the Vaikunthas will also be explained. This goes into a deeper understanding and explains how ones real self (atma-vigraha) serves Krishna in unlimited ways, even when sleeping and dreaming in a Krishna Conscious atmosphere, those dreams are non different from Goloka-Vrindavan.
In this way, the dreams of the atma-vigraha are always Krishna Conscious and are never about the material universe. In the presents of the atma-vigraha body, the jiva-bhutah does not exist. It is impossible to dream of the material universe in ones atma-vigraha transcendental (Krishna Conscious) body. Only the jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness, that only exists when one is completely unaware of their Krishna Conscious atma-vigraha body, can dream of the material universe.
On the other hand, when one dreams of Krishna in the Kingdom of God in their real form (atma-vigraha), such dreams expand one’s relationship with Krishna in unlimited unique ways, then there are Krishna Conscious dreams within those dreams, on and on and on – this is how one can be a servant, a son or daughter, a friend, a parent, a lover, a bird for Krishna to enjoy, a tree, a blade of grass for Krishna to walk on, a star (all fully Krishna Conscious) in the sky for Krishna to dance under during the moon lit night, or even an enemy of Krishna in His Lila or pastime. Also Krishna Himself has unlimited expansions that allows Him to Be with every individual simultaneously and appear as other expanded personalities, such as Balarama, Radharani, Lord Rama and multi varieties of Vishnu to name a few - all at the same time. This is explained in the Caitanya Caritamrta however, these secrets of secrets can only be understood when one is fully selflessly Krishna Conscious and can never be imitated.
Brahman must be held together by form because it IS the form of Krishna and His individual servants. The Brahma Samhita and other Vedic texts are often misconstrued, depicting an impersonal origin and misconception of how and where the individual jiva (sub-consciousness) originally exists; the great Vaisnavas who gave us this transcendental text did not intend this misapprehension of Impersonal impressions. Many of us just have not gone deep enough into the real meanings of Devotion and Personalism that is the foundation of the Brahma Samhita and the Vedanta.
Text 21 of the Brahma Samhita
The same individual life jiva is eternal and is for eternity and without a beginning joined to the Supreme Lord by the tie of an eternal kinship or relationships. He is transcendental Spiritual (devotional) potency. Just as the sun is eternally associated with its rays, so the transcendental Supreme Lord Krishna is eternally joined with the atma-vigrahas personalities in their full expression of devotional individuality, which is their originally position and who they really are.The atma-vigrahas are the infinitesimal in comparison to Lord Krishna however, the analogy of the sun and the sun-rays is only a metaphor, Krishna in his Supreme Person and top most Form, He is not an effulgent sun but a Supreme Person. In the same way, the individual atma-vigrahas, (also referred to as jiva’s by scholars, though, in this thesis, the Sanskrit word “jiva-bhutah” will refer to the non-Krishna Cognisant sub-consciousness of the atma-vigraha) are not an atomic ray or particle surrounding the sun because they are also individual persons. Atma-vigraha means one has an original Krishna Conscious bodily form.
The word nitya-sambandhah is significant here meaning possessing an eternal relationship with Krishna in a spiritual (devotional) sense. The Sanskrit word para means spiritual devotion. The atma-vigraha’s (always Krishna Conscious as their real self and form) and the discharged non-Krishna sub-conscious thoughts (jiva-bhutah) are simultaneously without beginning or and always joined. Unlike Krishna and the individual atma-vigraha servitors, the dreaming wide-ranging jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness can appear to exist as an atomic spark of inactive consciousness, only after choosing to forget Krishna and them selves (atma-vigraha), by attempting an independent non-Krishna Conscious existence in the material universe, then further attempting to end that material active existence by switching off thoughts and entering the Impersonal Brahmajoyti, which is another creation of the jiva-bhutah sub-consciousness. |
